Nancy Thompson is a born and raised Iowa Artist who resides in Ames, IA.  Nancy has been painting and drawing for over 25 years and a major portion of her work has been devoted to the Iowa landscape.  Nancy received the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing/Painting/Printmaking and the Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies from The College of Design at Iowa State University.  Her work has received many awards and she regularly submits her work to regional and national juried shows.  Nancy currently shows her work at The Octagon Center for the Arts in Ames, Iowa and the Hudson River Gallery and Frame Company in Iowa City, Iowa.
